About

Launched in February 2012 as the gaming news and reviewing arm of the Penny Arcade media conglomerate.

Its editor and main writer was Ben Kuchera, whose tenure featured several fairly politicized articles, including an infamous King of Fighters XIII review, as well as an often-quoted article about ad-blockers.

PAR was shut down at the end of 2013. Its articles have been deleted from the main Penny Arcade site on August 2014, only archives of it survive.
